Champ

Serpentine creature at lake Champlain about 20 feet long!
First Sighting:July 1609 by Samuel de Champlain.He writes in his travel log.Observation of a serpentine creature about 20 feet long,as thick as a barrel,and with a horse like head.Champlain explained the indians in the area called the animal chaousarau.

HABITAT:
Lake Champlain is the longest body of water in the U.S.Other than the great lakes.The lake is 110 miles long and 13 miles wide with a maximum depth 400 feet in some areas.It covers an area of 436 square miles across the state of New York and Vermout and the province of Queber,Canada.The lake's characteristics are much like that of Loch ness,in Scotland.Home to another famous cryptid,the Loch Ness Monster.
